• Consider how you can use the PLN interactions of this course to further your digital identity post-term.

By talking EDCI 338 this semester, there were lots of essential skills were build through learning personal learning network. Even though my personal major was not specialized in education, by learning PLN definitely helps to understand and established the important key factors to modelling a personal resume through the internet and even revealing ourselves and communicate with different groups of people to share information. People will have the opportunity to read and share or even learn information and knowledge faster through PLN networks. Individuals will be able to facilitate their learning and career growth by building professional PLN groups. In this regard, I can use the course’s PLN relations to strengthen my digital identity post-term by effectively managing my personal affairs and technological engagement. Furthermore, individuals can use PLN interactions to communicate and collaborate on various social networking platforms to harness professional skills (Zaphiris and Ioannou 96). I would maintain my online private life separate from professional learning. I would also use PLN interactions to manage my privacy and confidentiality settings online while sustaining a career-based digital presence.

  • What does it mean to have a digital identity in your industry of choice?

Having a digital identity in academic learning means that I become a trustworthy person who accepts and encourages exchanging information on social networking platforms. My goal is to ensure my ways to learn during the process and I have accepted the rightful knowledge from the internet, and be able to established and collaborate on various social media in order to present the various sides of themselves. Besides, students can create an online portfolio by presenting their academic and professional clinical skills and experiences such as resume and personal experience profile to allow students to pursue their career. I believe that my current PLN can be helpful in post-course professional development.

  • Can your current PLN be used to help professional development post-course?

I choose economics as my college major, and economic requires frequently updated information and concepts in the world daily news, and that allows the economists to analyze and reflect back on the financial and economical concepts. By building PLN online, allows me to connect with a diverse group of people who provide skills and knowledge that enhance my course practice.

  • Additionally, as you progress through the steps of your career, can your PLN be relied on to open professional opportunities?

PLN provides vast opportunities for professional development, critical reflection, and lifelong learning. During my career progress, I believe that my PLN can be depended on to create professional opportunities. I have established a diverse and robust network from different groups of professionals and groups that are specialized in economics. I have followed various accounts on Twitter and joined some Facebook groups to enhance my knowledge and ability was updated in this fast-developing world. PLN focuses on connectivity and interactivity, which allows people to share views and experiences in the digital space.
